BASES Slack Community

BASES Slack Community

This is a members only social platform, separate and in addition to social media and email, so BASES members can actively discuss ideas, share best practice, learn from each other, share BASES news, engage in the lighter side, and ultimately be more connected as a society.

Recognising BASES’ members’ expertise

The BASES 2021-22 Operational Plan includes a deliverable (D11) to create and maintain a register of BASES’ members being recognised as experts through invitations to key / major events, panels, presentations, expert groups, etc.

If you have been asked to be part of a national or international conference, event, panel or expert group, please add your name, the event, a brief overview of your role in the event, and the dates to this Slack channel. Members will be able to see updates and we can take a sample of the entries and include within the BASES annual Report and AGM slides, to acknowledge our members and recognise their expertise.

If you experience any issues when accessing Slack platform for the first time, please email Angus Boyle (a.boyle@bases.org.uk) in the first instance, or Ian Wilson (iwilson@bases.org.uk), who will try to resolve the issue and provide you with a revised link.
