As part of our partnership with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)  we would like to share with you information about how BASES members can access their most recent Position Stands and Consensus Statement as a useful international resource.

ESSA Position & Consensus Statements

ESSA would also like to encourage BASES members to review their professional development offerings in the ESSA Professional Development Hub. All live events are recorded and converted to Online Activities, so if member cannot attend live, they can still access the content post event. BASES members need only to complete the Manual Registration Form and submit to ESSA at education@essa.org.au

ESSA offers BASES members the ESSA member rates to access their 1.5 hour webinars and podcasts. The non-member webinar/podcast rate is $50 AUD but the ESSA member rate, which our members can access, is $30 AUD. A promo code called BASES has been set up which will apply a $20 discount for webinars and podcasts once entered at checkout prior to payment or there is a manual registration form that can be completed and returned directly to ESSA at education@essa.org.au.

BASES members can access the ESSA Professional Development and podcast listing here. There are over 180 podcasts available on a wide range of topics. After watching each podcast there is a 10 question multiple choice assessment. Once the assessment is passed, the completion certificate will be available for members to download from the ESSA portal within 24 hours.
